Let's see, a little about me...

I love movies- everything from Alfred Hitchcock, to Terry Gilliam, to David Lynch. As far as writing goes, anything by Warren Ellis or Chuck Palahniuk is an auto-read. For both books and movies, Harry Potter and Twilight are my guilty pleasures. I'm starting to read more manga lately, mostly Junji Ito and Black Butler.

I don't watch much tv, but when I do it's usually fandom-type shows like House, Smallville, CSI, or Mythbusters. Paranormal State is on my watch list just because I love watching drama kings Ryan and Chip ham it up. Torchwood and Doctor Who are favorites too.

My taste in music is pretty scattershot. I enjoy bluegrass, techno, jazz, blues, classic rock, and a bit of metal every now and then. Mostly my music list has been filled with Allison Krauss and Bruce Springsteen lately, but it changes pretty often.

As far as hobbies go, my work pretty much is my hobby. I do upkeep on a privately owned camping ground/nature reserve type place. Mountains, forest, creeks, fishing ponds, and the like. Maintaining/clearing hiking trails, recreational vehicle paths, and gravel roads takes up most of the time. I also do volunteer work for the local humane society, a nearby retirement home, and the community center.
